Water Main Project to Shut Down Bucktown Streets (MAP)
Three streets will be getting a new water main, according to Ald. Scott Waguespack. Driving conditions on said streets will be altered this summer.
The Department of Water Management will be installing a new water main on:
- N. Claremont, from W. Palmer to W. Shakespeare
- N. Oakley (East Drive), from W. Palmer to W. Shakespeare
- W. Palmer, from Oakley (East Drive) to N. Leavitt
This new installment will begin shortly and is expected to be completed in late August to early September. Dates may change depending on weather and other factors. "No Parking" signs will be posted as needed during work hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
