CHICAGO — Soaring home prices in have been accompanied by rising rental rates in Wicker Park over the past few years. On Thursday, 66 apartments were up for rent on Realtor.com in the neighborhood; however, only one was asking for less than $1,300 a month.

Nearly two dozen of the rental listings in the neighborhood — most of which were single-family homes — were asking for more than $3,000 a month.

Good news for pet owners — many of the current rental listings allow cats and dogs.
