Wicker Park Farmers Market: Vendors, Transit, Parking
One of Chicago's most popular farmers markets is set to begin in June.

CHICAGO, IL — Those who love all that is handmade and homegrown (who doesn't?!) can flock to the Wicker Park Farmers Market starting Sunday, June 3. Located at 1425 N. Damen Ave., the market will run during its usual hours every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Oct. 28. The market will offer fresh fruit, vegetables, baked goods, meats, cheeses, flowers and more.
This year's new vendors include Beacon Donuts, Publican Anker (selling house-made pickles, spices and ground turkey) and Lyons Fruit Farm (selling fruit, vegetables, eggs, plants and herbs).
Market staples such as Nicols Farm and Orchard (offering fresh local produce), Nitro Coffee, Bro Bagel and Mint Creek (offering grass-fed meats and fresh eggs) are also back for another season, organizers said. A chef's demo table will also be set up at the market.

Free yoga classes will be offered at the market at 9 a.m. every Sunday.
Other than street parking, there is no designated parking for customers, so biking, walking or taking transit is recommended — the market is less than a block away from the CTA Damen Blue Line stop. If you prefer to drive, the city recommends using ParkWhiz for markets and events.
