Woman Accused Of Wicker Park Bank Robberies

CHICAGO — A woman has been taken into custody in connection with three bank robberies in Wicker Park and Humboldt Park. In the latest robbery, the BMO Harris bank at 1242 N. Ashland Ave. was held up Tuesday at about 2 p.m., according to the FBI.

The woman has also been connected to the Feb. 15 robbery of the Chase Bank at 800 North Kedzie Avenue and the Chase Bank at 1959 West Division Street, the FBI said.

The woman pretended to be pregnant during the West Division branch robbery, agents said.

The FBI's Chicago Field Office was offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading directly to her arrest, however it's unclear if anyone collected the reward.

Few details about the nature of the robberies were released.
