Bernard Drive Project Will Be Examined At Virtual Meeting
The Village of Buffalo Grove is soliciting public input for the reconstruction project from Arlington Heights Road to Buffalo Grove Road.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — A three-phased project, which is expected to be completed in 2024, will be the topic of conversation during a virtual meeting later this month. Bernard Drive is proposed to be reconstructed from Arlington Heights Road to Buffalo Grove Road. Bernard Drive is located in and under the jurisdiction of the Village of Buffalo Grove.
The Village of Buffalo Grove invites the public to attend a virtual public information meeting, starting at 5 p.m. Oct. 27 for the Bernard Drive Phase I Engineering Study, which will examine the area. The meeting, according to the Village, will take place on Zoom and present alternatives on proposed roadway improvements in this area. It will be conducted in an open house format, where attendees will be able to review exhibits, provide input on the proposed improvement plan, and submit questions or comments.
Both project termini at Arlington Heights Road and Buffalo Grove Road are under the jurisdiction of the Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways, and no improvements are anticipated at these signalized intersections.
