Buffalo Grove Boy Gets Special Birthday Ride

Jacob Moodhe of Buffalo Grove recently celebrated his birthday with a special ride to school. Jacob was the lucky recipient of a “Golden Ticket” entitling him to a ride to school on a fire truck. 

Jacob received his ticket on Halloween, when members of the Buffalo Grove Fire Department handed out goody bags to children who were trick-or-treating. All bags contained treats and fire safety information, but 10 also contained “Golden Tickets” for rides to school on a fire truck.

Jacob, who was accompanied by his brother Trevor, was dropped off at Longfellow School by the crew of Tower 25.
