Buffalo Grove Boy Wins National Title in Taekwondo

Humza Qazi earned a score of 7.77 in the national competition held earlier this month, the Chicago Tribune reports.

A Buffalo Grove boy is a national champion in Tawkwondo, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Nine-year-old Humza Qazi took first place in his age group in the USA Taekwondo National Championships held this month at McCormick Place, according to the newspaper. Qazi studies Taekwondo at I Tiger Martial Arts in Lake Zurich, and practiced four hours per day for three weeks leading up to the competition, the newspaper reports. His goal is to make the U.S. national team.
