Buffalo Grove Farmers Market Ranks 1st in Local Support
Online pledges from farmers market fans put Buffalo Grove's at the top of the state and earned it national recognition from American Farmland Trust.

Buffalo Grove’s farmers market is being recognized as the most celebrated market in Illinois based on pledges from local supporters.
Buffalo Grove farmers market fans collectively pledged to spend $1,780 there in support of family farmers as part of American Farmland Trust's I Love My Farmers Market program. That support placed the village’s market 25th on a list of the nation’s 100 most celebrated farmers markets.
The pledges, which account for consumers’ promises to spend $10 at the market, were made over a three-month period this summer.

I Love My Farmers Market celebration is part of American Farmland Trust’s No Farms No Food campaign.
The Buffalo Grove farmers market runs from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Sunday through Oct. 6 in front of the Spray N’ Play water park.
