Buffalo Grove Unveils Revamped Website
New website offers easier access to public information, bill paying and more.

Buffalo Grove unveiled a revamped website last week that officials say offers better services for visitors.
At a glance, the updated design and color scheme may be the most noticeable changes. But the site also offers new buttons that make it easier for residents to share concerns and obtain information, said Lauren Stott, Buffalo Grove’s management analyst.
The site allows visitors to easily alert village staff to problems such as potholes and barking dogs; view and pay water bills; find contact information for elected officials and village staff members; and request public documents either directly on the site or through a Freedom of Information Act request.

“It’s kind of a one-stop shop for everyone,” Stott said.
Additional features will be added, including information about district boundaries and village services for new residents, Village Manager Dane Bragg said.

“I’ve gone through the new website and it is just significantly more user friendly,” Trustee Mike Terson said.
