CCSD21 to host free community Wellness Fair
Join School District 21 on Saturday, October 22, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at London Middle School for a free, community-wide Wellness Fair.
Join School District 21 on Saturday, October 22, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at London Middle School for a free, community-wide Wellness Fair.
Take part in a one-mile family walk and, during the walk, participate in one of many student-led wellness stations. CCSD21 students will help participants practice a yoga move, learn a healthy recipe, understand the importance of hydration, and more.
Community partners and local vendors will be on hand to share about their organizations. Stations will include:

- Fitness class demonstrations provided by the Buffalo Grove and Wheeling Park Districts
- Blood pressure and glucose screenings provided Creekside Health Center
- Healthy snack samples from Salata and CCSD21 food service provider OrganicLife
Every CCSD21 student who attends will be entered into a drawing for a prize pack. Any attendee who visits Wellness Fair stations will also be eligible to win one of three grand prizes, regardless of age.
