Kent Lee Inducted Into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi

Kent Lee, of Buffalo Grove, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Lee was initiated at University of Southern California. Lee is among approximately 30,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.

SNHU Announces Winter 2021 President's List

It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Winter 2021 President's List. The winter term runs from January to May. Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6.

Ashley Adner Named to UM Spring 2021 Chancellor's Honor Roll

Ashley Adner, of Buffalo Grove, was recently named to the University of Mississippi's Spring 2021 Honor Roll lists. Adner was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00. In order to be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

Dariyn Fergus Graduates From Central College

Dariyn Fergus, of Buffalo Grove, was one of 204 Central College students who were celebrated during Commencement on Saturday, May 15, at Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium.
Fergus received a bachelor's degree in Theatre and Spanish.
