Simon Named To James Madison University Dean's List

Michael Simon, of Buffalo Grove, has been named to the Dean's List at James Madison University for the spring 2021 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Simon is majoring in hospitality management.

Buffalo Grove Resident Graduates From James Madison University

Michael Simon, of Buffalo Grove, graduated with a degree in hospitality management from James Madison University during commencement exercises in May 2021. Simon was among more than 3,600 students who received undergraduate, master's, educational specialist and doctoral degrees.

Dennis Gavrila Graduates From Ohio University

Dennis Gavrila, from Buffalo Grove, graduated with a Bachelor of Sport Management from the College of Business at Ohio University. More than 4,800 students graduated with bachelor's, master's or doctorate degrees from Ohio University for spring semester 2021.

Ohio University announces Dean's List recipients

More than 7,800 students qualified for the spring semester 2021 Dean's List at Ohio University, including main and regional campuses. Over 40 states were represented on the Dean's List, including: Alabama, Florida, Hawaii, Kentucky, Nebraska, New Mexico, Washington and Ohio. Students also represented China, France, Germany, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Oman, Peru and many other countries.

University of Iowa 2021 spring semester dean's list honorees announced

More than 7,000 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the dean's list for the 2021 spring semester. Dean's list status was earned by only 872 first year undergraduates during the 2021 spring semester at Iowa, only 1,579 second year students, only 1,947 third year students, and only 2,687 fourth year students.

Nan Mao Receives Degree from Georgia Tech

Nan Mao, of Buffalo Grove, has earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Mao was among approximately 4,435 undergraduate and graduate students who earned their degrees during the Spring 2021 semester and were recognized during the Institute's 260th Commencement exercises May 7-8, 2021, at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
