National DEA Take Back Day is Saturday, April 24th! Do you have old or unused prescription medications that you no longer need? Consumers and caregivers should remove expired, unwanted, or unused medicines from their home as quickly as possible to help reduce the chance that others may accidentally take or intentionally misuse the unneeded medicine.
It is important to dispose of unused medications properly to help reduce harm from accidental exposure or intentional misuse.
