Dominick's Employees Encounter Belligerence

ALCOHOL

Timothy R. Gleason, 37, of the 400 block of Whitaker Trail, McHenry, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding at 10:42 p.m. Dec. 19 at Deerfield Parkway and Green Knolls.

Starlight N. Domrese, 33, of the 1400 block of Winslowe Drive, Palatine, was charged with driving under the influence, driving too fast for conditions and damage to village property at 11:30 p.m. Dec. 19 at Aptakisic Road and Brandywyn Lane.

BATTERY

Arthur Pasmanik, 32, of the 1200 block of Wellington Court, Buffalo Grove, was charged with domestic battery at 1:55 p.m. Dec. 22.

COMPLAINT

A complainant reported that someone was being belligerent to Dominick’s employees at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 20 and would not leave the Lake-Cook Road store. The person was gone when police arrived.

INVESTIGATION

A resident of the 0-100 block of Oak Creek Drive reported the smell of burnt cannabis at 2:33 p.m. Dec. 21. Officers were unable to locate the source of the odor. 

PROPERTY DAMAGE

A resident of the 700 block of Beechwood Road reported Dec. 20 that his mailbox was damaged by an unknown vehicle. 

THEFT

A complainant reported that someone left Jewel without paying for merchandise at 12:50 a.m. Dec. 21. 

A resident reported Dec. 22 that her wallet was stolen, and there was fraudulent activity on her bank account. The resident has been in contact with her bank.
