Enjoy Local Music, Drinks, Food at Illinois Booze & Blues Tent

There’s a new music event coming to Long Grove this weekend.

The Village Tavern restaurant, 135 Old McHenry Road, will host the first annual “Illinois Booze & Blues” tent on July 27. Those attending Saturday’s event will enjoy spirits from local distilleries and can sample 12 of them for $20. There will also be food and music from local bands from 12:30 p.m. through 7 p.m. Festivities continue Sunday, July 28 when the restaurant holds its Veteran’s Recognition Day Pig Roast from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Lake Zurich Courier reports.
