The Buffalo Grove Fire Department's Saturday open house included a visit from a Flight for Life crew, which landed its helicopter around noon as a crowd of spectators looked on.
Visitors were able to take a look inside the close quarters of the helicopter, which has room for a pilot, two responders and one patient.
