Guy Fieri's Flavortown Kitchen Opens In Wheeling

WHEELING, IL — Guy Fieri is one of the most recognizable celebrity chefs in the world. For those who have always wanted to try some dishes created by the Food Network star, you may be in luck. Fieri recently opened three locations of his delivery-only Flavortown Kitchen in Illinois, one in Wheeling.

The concept of the restaurant is that it is not located in its own traditional brick-and-mortar building, but rather the food is made out of an existing business. For the Wheeling location at 604 N Milwaukee Ave., the food is prepared and delivered out of Buca di Beppo. Known as a "ghost kitchen," this style of restaurant has become particularly popular during the pandemic.

The menu features Fieri specialties like the signature Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ Wings and an award-winning Mac N Cheese Burger.

The other Illinois locations of Flavortown Kitchen can be found in Orland Park and Lombard. In all, there are currently locations in 32 states.

Fieri is no stranger to Chicagoland as his popular Food Network show, "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," has featured local restaurants in numerous episodes.
