Brian Shepard is the third director hired by Indian Trails Public Library in the last four years.

Indian Trails Public Library will soon have a new leader.

Brian Shepard has been hired as the library’s new director. He will take the helm Oct. 28.

Shephard comes from the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, where he’s worked for 22 years, Indian Trails posted on Patch. He has most recently served as assistant director/director of operations and oversaw the library’s recent $2.8 million renovation.
