Long Grove Girl Gets a Chance to Dance With Justin Bieber Onstage (VIDEO)

Hannah Ohel, 11, is one of two suburban dancers from Soul2Sole Dance who will perform with the pop star when he's in Chicago.

An 11-year-old dancer from Long Grove will get her chance to show off her moves to a crowd of thousands when she shares the stage with pop star Justin Bieber during his visit to Chicago later this month.

Hannah Ohel, a dancer at Soul2Sole Dance, which has studios in Highland Park and Buffalo Grove, was one of eight kids chosen to perform with the singer during Bieber's Chicago concerts for his The Purpose World Tour. Ohel will be on stage for the Saturday, April 23, concert.

Another Sou2Sole dancer—Jordyn Shapiro, 11, of Highland Park—will dance during the Friday, April 22, gig. Both shows are at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont.

The girls earned their spots as part of a contest that had thousands of young dancers send in videos performing to one of Bieber's songs. To compete, contestants needed to record themselves dancing to the single "Children."

In the introduction to her video, Ohel bounces into frame and explains what it would be like to spend some onstage spotlight time with that guy. You know, the one who likes to post shirtless selfies and show off his ink and washboard abs.

"Who wouldn't want to work with Justin Bieber? It would be an amazing, mind-blowing experience!" Ohel says in the video, before bouncing out of frame and frame-dissolving into her routine.

Ohel's video ends with a bit of bribery: She tells Bieber that if she's chosen, she’ll bring provide the chocolate for the show.

“These girls have danced at Soul2Sole since they were 3 years old," Debbie Kramer, Soul2Sole's owner, stated in a press release about the girls. "We love watching all of our students grow with dance and take the stage, but this is an opportunity of a lifetime, and we are so proud of Hannah and Jordyn.”

Ohel and Shapiro study multiple forms of dance at Soul2Sole, including ballet, jazz and hip hop. They also are members of the studio's elite competition team and its all-girl hip hop team, Fusion.
