Metra Delays, Cancellations Reported as Extreme Weather Continues

Commuter train stops have been canceled, delayed and added due to the hazardous weather conditions on Jan. 7.

Metra has canceled trains and modified the schedule of others on multiple lines Tuesday morning due to the below-zero temperatures, according to the agency's website.

A North Central train scheduled to arrive in Antioch at 8:48 a.m. is running 45-55 minutes behind schedule, according to the site. 

Chicago-bound trains on the North Central line, which serves the Buffalo Grove and Prairie View stations, could be 10 to 40 minutes behind schedule, according to the website.
