New Starbucks Reserve Bar Opens In Downtown Naperville
A new Starbucks Reserve Bar store has opened in downtown Naperville, one of only a handful of its kind in the entire world.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Starbucks has brought the era of the modern coffeehouse to the Chicago suburbs.
The new Starbucks Reserve Bar opened in downtown Naperville on Monday, providing a unique experience for visitors to the large coffee chain. However, the store offers much more than just coffee. The Starbucks website says that the Naperville location will offer "innovative, coffee and tea-inspired mixology and Princi's fresh, artisanal Italian fare," creating a franchise that is closer to a traditional restaurant then perhaps any other Starbucks store.
The Reserve Bar is located at 203 S. Main St. in the heart of Naperville's downtown district, nestled between a variety of luxury shopping, dining and entertainment experiences.

Starbucks spokeswoman Erin Shane Riley told the Chicago Tribune that "the Naperville location is only the fourth Starbucks Reserve restaurant in the world, joining other locations in Seattle, New York City, and Shanghai."
Beyond the standard Starbucks coffee offerings, the Naperville menu offers a variety of different drink and food options that can be found at almost no other location. This includes things like artisan salads, sandwiches and pizzas, in addition to more classic breakfast offerings like pastries and egg dishes. A variety of alcoholic seasonal and signature cocktails are also available for purchase. The restaurant also has a specialized menu that is available through Uber Eats, allowing those who order in to enjoy the experience as well.

While the Starbucks Reserve Bar is a unique concept, it is not the first specialized Starbucks location in the Chicagoland area. In November 2019, the Starbucks Chicago Roastery opened on Chicago's Magnificent Mile. The Roastery, located at 646 N. Michigan Ave., is currently the world's largest Starbucks store, and joined additional Roastery locations in Milan, New York City, Seattle, Shanghai, and Tokyo. The Reserve Bar in Naperville features similar menu items, but unlike the Roastery, does not roast its own coffee on site.
The Starbucks Corporation is currently the world's largest coffeehouse chain, and since its founding in 1971, has seen rapid expansion both domestically and internationally. The company now has over 32,000 stores across 83 global markets.
The Starbucks Reserve Bar in Naperville is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
