Rita Mormino nee Gassel, 85.

Devoted mother of Jory (Barbara) Cohen, Debbie (Steve) Macklin, Steve (Athena) Mormino, Tammy Mormino, and Len (Susie) Mormino. Cherished Baubi of Zach (Julie) Cohen, Amira Cohen and Raphi Cohen, Jason (Sarah) Macklin, Jeremy Macklin, Justin Macklin, Madison Mormino, Sophia Mormino, Kaia Mormino and Alexis (Gloria) Cremerius.

Adored Great-Grandmother of Cyrus and Zoe. Loving daughter of the late Harry and the late Esther Gassel. Dear sister of Arnold (Paula) Gassel, Seymour (Aleka) Gassel, and Gertrude (Cantor Reuben) Cooper.

Warmly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and so many that “became family” because of her loving, generous, and caring spirit. Service Wednesday 12 noon at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road (one block north of Lake Cook Road) Buffalo Grove. Interment Shalom.
