Patriot Aquatic Club Recognized By USA Swimming
The Patriot Aquatic Club, a feeder club for Stevenson High School swimming, earned a bronze medal for excellence.

LINCOLNSHIRE, IL - The Patriot Aquatic Club, which serves as a feeder program for Stevenson High School's swimming and diving programs, has for the first time been recognized by USA Swimming for its work in developing young swimmers. The club received a bronze-medal ranking in the USA Swimming Club Excellence program.
“I couldn’t be happier with our program receiving this honor. Our athletes have bought into a new culture and we are starting to see the benefits of that from this past season,” Patriot Aquatic Club Head Coach Kevin Zakrzewski, who also heads the girls swim team at Stevenson, said. “I would like to thank the rest of the staff, parents, District 125 and the 18 & under athletes that are dedicated to their sport and recognized by USA Swimming. I would also like to thank the other Clubs that participate in this program. It is hard work and makes all of us better at achieving excellence."
The Club was awarded the honor of a Bronze medal ranking in the USA Swimming Club Excellence program, recognizing the organization’s highest-performing clubs in the development of athletes 18 years and younger.
PAC, whose top athletes include State Champion sprinter Topher Stensby (1450 points), breaststroker
Hannah Liu (1360) and Alumni Maddie Smith (1880), finishing with over 6,500 points which
ranked the program 111th in the country.

USA Swimming's Club Excellence program identifies clubs that execute strong, well-rounded programs to produce elite 18-and- under athletes. The top 20 clubs earn Gold level ranking and those rated 21-100 are designated as Silver honorees. The next 100 clubs are recognized at the Bronze level.
