Stevenson Names New Girls Field Hockey Coach
Isabella Licciardello was promoted from her role as the junior varsity coach.

LINCOLNSHIRE, IL — Stevenson High School has a new girls field hockey coach after Laura (Camastro) Husko resigned following seven seasons in the role. Isabella Licciardello was recently named the new coach, according to a news release from the school. She steps into the new role as a promotion from her position as the junior varsity A team coach the past two seasons.
Licciardello played field hockey at the University of Iowa from 2012 until 2015. She was a starter during her senior season as a midfielder-defender. In high school, she was an all-state athlete at Fredricksburg Academy in Virginia and led her team to an undefeated record and state championship as a freshman.
“I’m excited for our athletes, as they will continue to develop under the leadership of an incredible coach who’s invested in the growth of the game, as well as each athlete as an individual,” Stevenson Athletic Director Trish Betthauser said on the hiring of Licciardello.
