Thefts Reported from Car, Store, Doorstep

BURGLARY
Someone took several items that were inside a backpack left in an unlocked vehicle at 5 p.m. Oct. 4 on the 700 block of Farrington.
COMPLAINT
A complainant reported several cars driving around a school bus that was stopped with the stop arm extended at 3:50 p.m. Oct. 7 on the 1000 block of Plum Grove. Officers will monitor the situation.

PROPERTY DAMAGE
Someone shattered a vehicle’s rear tailgate window while it was parked Oct. 6 in a lot on the 1100 block of Dundee Road.

THEFT
A resident of the 300 block of Navajo reported Oct. 4 that someone stole a UPS package containing boots ordered from Sears.
A complainant reported two men entered a store at 1:12 p.m. Oct 4 on the 1200 block of Dundee Road, placed several items into a black canvas bag and left the store.
