Two People Shot In Parking Lot Of North Aurora Woodman's
Shots rang out in the parking lot of a North Aurora grocery store on Tuesday afternoon, leaving two people injured.

NORTH AURORA, Ill. - Two people were shot and injured in the parking lot of a Woodman's grocery store in the western suburbs on Tuesday evening.
According to a statement from North Aurora police, two male victims were shot while sitting inside their vehicle at approximately 6:30 p.m., causing both of them to be hospitalized. Police did not have an official motive for the shooting, but stated that they believe it could have been the result of a bad drug deal, and was likely a targeted attack.
"From what we can tell, this was some type of drug-related offense, but we don't know for sure," North Aurora Police Chief David Fisher said in a statement. Bill Leonard, an employee at the Woodman's store, told NBC 5 that "at first I thought it was a popped tire, but by the second shot my friend and I knew those were gunshots."
