Your Guide to OktoberFest in August in Buffalo Grove
The three-day festival kicks off Friday and continues through Sunday.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL - The 139th Annual Oktoberfest in August will be held this weekend in Buffalo Grove. The festivities kick off on Friday and continue through Sunday. There will be German and domestic beers on tap, bratwurst, live entertainment, singers, dancers and other fun for people of all ages, according to the event website.
The festival will run from 6:30 to 11 p.m. on Friday, 1 to 11 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at the Schwaben Center, 301 N. Weiland Road in Buffalo Grove.
There is a $10 donation per person entry fee while children 12 and under are free.

Here is a look at the schedule of events:
FRIDAY
- 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.: Live Radio Show – Eddie V on WCKG 1530 will be doing a live show on the premises
- 6:45 p.m.: We will do a toast to open the 139th Event!
- 7:00 – 11:00 p.m.: Chef Dan and the Appetizers will perform contemporary music, oldies and more!
SATURDAY
- 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.: Amazing Mike
- 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.: Alte Kameraden (Popular Wisconsin German Band)
- 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.: German Dancers
Sunday
- 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.: Amazing Mike
- 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.: Speeches, Delegates, German Consulate, Marching Band
- 4:00 – 9:00 p.m.: Phenix Band (Most Popular Chicago German Band)
