This Is Illinois' Top-Rated Burger Restaurant: TripAdvisor

CHAMPAIGN, IL — If you don't want to make dinner or grill out this weekend, why enjoy some food at the best burger joint in Illinois? If you're up for traveling, one particular Champaign spot is the newly crowned TriAdvisor's top-rated burger restaurant in Illinois.

The honor goes to Farren's Pub & Eatery, 308 North Randolph St. Rated "Excellent" on TripAdvisor, the restaurant has a whopping 144 (out of 254) reviews about the burgers alone.

Customers have named a few burgers in particular in the reviews, including the Warren burger, which someone posted "lives up to the hype," and Motherlode or the Russell burgers, which a customer claims are the best and has the best "bleu cheese sauce" they've ever had.

The list, compiled by USA Today, accounts for ratio and quality of burger reviews compared to overall ratings, as well as quality and quantity of reviews received in the past year through May 2018. The report said restaurants that are featured on the list have at least 4 out of 5 bubbles, 100 reviews and 10 locations or less as of June 2018.
