Church Street Lane To Close At New Street In Champaign
Work begins March 31 on a storm sewer repair and is expected to be completed by April 3.
In order to perform storm sewer repairs, SNC Construction will be closing the right lane of Church Street at its intersection with New Street. Westbound Church Street traffic will be merged into a single lane through a short construction work zone. All travel at intersections will remain unaffected by this work. Work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, and is planned to be completed and reopened to traffic by 4 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021. Minor traffic delays may occur.
The work is weather dependent and may be delayed in the event of inclement weather.
