City Of Champaign: Kirby Avenue Early Morning Road Work

The City of Champaign Public Works Department will be performing pavement grinding activities on Kirby Avenue between Prospect Avenue and Mattis Avenue. This work will occur between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Monday June 28, Tuesday June 29, and Wednesday June 30. This work will address some of the pavement heaving that has been noticed. The work is scheduled at this time to have the least impact on rush hour traffic and to reduce traffic safety hazards within the work zone.
