Body Of Missing South Chicago Heights Woman Found
The remains of Jessica Flores, who went missing in February 2019, have been found in a wooded area of Gary, Indiana.
GARY, IN — The remains of Jessica Flores, the 36-year-old South Chicago Heights mother of six who went missing last year, have been found. Remains first found by a city worker in Gary, Indiana last week were later positively identified as those of Flores, the Times of Northwest Indiana and others have reported. The remains were found in a wooded area near the 700 block of Clark Road in the city, according to the Times.
The city worker first found a human skull and then more skeletal remains in the area, and then police used a cadaver search dog to find additional remains, the report indicates.
Flores had been considered missing, and presumably murdered, since February of 2019 when she was last seen in Gary.

Murder charged had been filed against Drew "Tiny" Carter III, 41, of Gary but were later dropped. He remained in custody, however, on allegations by police that he had two guns in his car when he was arrested for the murder of Flores.
