Burglar Rammed Garage Door, Stole Equipment: Blotter
Nearly $1,000 of equipment was stolen from the Heights business.

Someone broke into Contractors Recycling Service at 201 State Street in Chicago Heights and stole nearly $1,000 worth of equipment, according to police.
Cops say an unknown person forced entry into the building sometime between Jan. 3 and Jan. 7 by pushing a garage door off its tracks. An orange and black vehicle bumper mark on the garage door suggested the burglar first rammed it with his car before prying it open, according to police.
Among the stolen items was a commercial heater valued at roughly $400 and a silver 1/2 inch impact gun, also valued at roughly $400.
