Chicago Heights To Host Fall Soccer At Limited Capacity
Starting in September, kids can make their way back to the soccer field
CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — Soccer is making its way back to Chicago Heights amid the COVID-19 pandemic this September, with safety restrictions in place, according to the Chicago Heights Park District.
Beginning Sept. 1, six to nine year old's will start practicing every Tuesday from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Those ages 10 to 14 will begin practicing Thursdays, starting Sept. 3, between 6:15 and 7:45 as well.
For both age groups, games will be held on Fridays and Saturdays at Commissioners Park, 311 N. Chicago Rd. There is a limit of 50 participants allowed for each age group, according to the website.
