CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — We're keeping track of all the major higher education accomplishments of area students. Here is a look at Chicago Heights area students who have all been recognized by Merit Pages News for their academic accomplishments.

Jackson named to USF Spring 2021 Dean's List

• Bryce Jackson of Chicago Heights was named to the University of Sioux Falls' Spring 2021 Dean's List. Jackson is majoring in Sports Management, and was among more than 600 students named to the list in the spring 2021 semester. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or greater on a 4.0 scale.

DePauw University Congratulates Anthony Rizzi on May graduation

• Anthony Rizzi of Chicago Heights graduated from DePauw University with a BA in Economics and on May 23.

Area students graduate from the University of Iowa

• Myah Rhodes of Chicago Heights graduated from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology.
• Ethan Osuch of Steger graduated from the College of Engineering, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in biomedical engineering.

• Elysse Bonds of Chicago Heights, first year English major.
• Khullen Jefferson of Lynwood, first year Sport and Recreation Management major.
