CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — State Rep. Anthony DeLuca's (D-Chicago Heights) introduced legislation regarding term limits has passed the Illinois House of Representatives.
If signed, House Bill 642 would set term limits for the speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives, president of the Illinois Senate, and House and Senate minority leaders. Last week, the bill passed through the House with bipartisan support.
