The family of a 55-year-old Chicago Heights man with schizophrenia says they haven’t heard from him in three weeks, according to ABC 7 Chicago.
The man, Darrell Jefferson, is a resident of the Golden Towers Senior Homes in Chicago Heights. His family says he usually calls every day, but they haven’t heard from him since Dec. 13, according to the report. Jefferson’s social security checks have gone unclaimed since then.
