CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — While Thanksgiving Day feasts are likely to be a little smaller this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, that doesn’t mean we’re less likely to forget the cranberry sauce, the gravy or the whipped topping for the pumpkin pie.

It’s a terrible feeling — but, luckily, there’s a list of grocery stores that will be open in Chicago Heights for those emergency and last-minute shopping trips.

Both chains made the decision in response to the coronavirus pandemic. In a statement released on its website, Target said the company’s goal is to "make the holiday shopping experience simple, safe, and stress-free.”

Here are the hours for grocery stores that will be open on Thanksgiving Day, along with a list of those that won’t:

Jewel-Osco: All stores open but hours vary by location. Pharmacy hours may also vary by location.

Food 4 Less: The store, located at 1333 Western Ave, Chicago Heights, IL 60411, will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Save A Lot: The store, located at 3310 Chicago Rd S S, Chicago Heights, IL 60411, will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Heights Fresh Market: The store, located at 1657 Chicago Rd, Chicago Heights, IL 60411, will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
