Grand Prairie Services Chicago Heights: COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic

The clinic will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Grand Prairie Services Chicago Heights location.

CHICAGO HEIGHT, IL — If you're still looking to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, an upcoming inoculation event may be the place to go get jabbed.

Grand Prairie Services in Chicago Heights will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on June 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The clinic will have the Pfizer vaccine on site, and is located at 450 W. 14th Street, Chicago Heights.

To receive the vaccine, a valid form of identification is required. All inoculations will continue as supplies last. Walk-ins are welcome to attend, according to the City of Chicago Heights.

All Illinois populations can receive the vaccine, regardless of insurance coverage, immigration status and those who are undocumented.

According to its website, Grand Prairie Services is a not-for-profit behavioral healthcare provider with over 66 years of experience that provides outpatient counseling and mental health services. The organization began in 1950 as a counseling agency in Park Forest, and then merged in 1956 with social service groups representing Park Forest, Chicago Heights, Homewood and Harvey.
