Marian Catholic Students Can Learn How to Drive this Summer

Marian Catholic Students who've reached the minimum age for getting behind the wheel of a car, the time has come to learn exactly what's what in the driver's seat. That's why, this summer, Marian Catholic will offer two driver's education classes during June and July for those wishing to get behind the wheel.
The two sessions, the first of which takes place June 10 to 21 and the second of which takes place June 24 to 28 and July 1 to 3 and 8 to 9, feature 30 hours of classroom instruction at Marian, followed by six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction at Washington High School, 3535 E. 114th Street, Chicago.
Students are responsible for their own transportation to Washington High School.

The cost for the course is a total of $150, with payment as follows: $80 via check or money order made payable to Marian Catholic High School, which is due at registration; a $20 money order made payable to the Illinois Secretary of State, paid on the first day of class to the instructor; and a $50 money order made payable to CPS Driver's Education, presented at the first behind-the-wheel session.
Attendance is mandatory for every class and no refunds will be given. Students must be at least 15-years-old at the time of the class to participate. Registration is on a first come, first served basis, with at least 20 students needed for a class to take place.
