Memorial Day Ceremony Planned In Chicago Heights

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL -- The village of Chicago Heights will celebrate, honor and remember America's heroes with a "Morning of Remembrance" ceremony planned to start at 10:30 a.m. on Memorial Day.

A flyer about the ceremony indicates Mayor David A. Gonzalez and the Chicago Heights City Council will be present to honor the nation's fallen heroes at the Chicago Heights Veterans Mound at the northwest corner of Lincoln Highway and Chicago Road.
