New Director Of Homewood Heights Softball Club Named
Ron Newquist will coach the 14U team and work with the 12U and 8U managers on player development.
CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — Ron Newquist has joined the Homewood Heights Baseball & Softball Club as its director of girls' softball. Newquist, who has more than 30 years of softball and basketball coaching experience, will manage the club's 14U team in 2020 and work closely with the 12U and 8U travel team managers on development at those levels as well, according to a news release the club sent out.
The release says Newquist, a lifelong Chicago Heights resident, is "a no-nonsense guy... and an excellent addition to our growing organization."
