The following obituary was submitted to Patch:
On Tuesday October 1, 2019 Anna Margaret (Batterman) Mohr loving wife and mother of 3 children went peacefully to be with the Lord. She passed away at the age of 72. Anna was born on December 13, 1946, in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Ervin and Margaret (O’Connor) Batterman. On January 13, 1968, she married W. Kent Mohr, the love of her life. They were engaged after 5 dates, married 6 months later, and celebrated their 51st Wedding Anniversary this year. They raised three children, Tommy-John (T-J) Mohr, Amy Mohr, and Emily (Mohr) Ulas.
Anna was active for many years with the American Legion Post #131 Women’s Auxiliary. The “Tupperware Lady” is what she was known as to many people. She sold Tupperware for 25 years and was an Amazing Ambassador back in the day. Anna worked 13 years, at a job she absolutely loved, as a receptionist for Dr Dailide DDS. She was very much a people person, always recognizing and talking to people everywhere she went. Most importantly, Anna was a Woman of God, who alongside of her husband Kent raised a family that loved God and put him first in their relationships.
