CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at the South Suburban Humane Society. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Donkey, who is available for adoption at the humane society.
The society said Donkey is a 3 1/2 year old lab mix. He is an active and outgoing guy that is still acts very much like a puppy. He has participated in play groups and done well with other dogs. He is playful and can’t wait for a house with a yard to run around in.

The South Suburban Humane Society is at 1103 West End Ave. in Chicago Heights. The society is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, from 1-7 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and it is closed on Tuesdays.
If you can give Donkey the loving home he deserves, visit him and the other cats and dogs available for adoption at South Suburban Humane Society this week.
