Sertoma Centre Housewares Super Sale to be Held June 1-2

The Sertoma Thrift Store in Matteson is trying to liquidate its collection of brand new houseware items with a store-wide closeout sale on June 1-2. The sale will see items marked at least 50-percent off store-wide.

The Sertoma Thrift Store in Matteson is closing its doors for the final time in just over two weeks, and that means everything in the store must go. To help liquidate the store's supply of houseware items, including cookware, dishware, cutlery, candles, décor, brooms, mops and more, prices will be slashed 50-percent off or more. The sale will take place June 1-2 at the former Good as New Thrift Store, 4343 W. Lincoln Highway.

Sertoma is an organization that serves more than 650 clients daily that are mentally, physically and developmentally challenged, according to an email from Sertoma Board of Directors member Joe Varanauski.

All items that are part of the Housewares Super Sale are brand new and have never been on store shelves before. All sales at the super sale are final. Super sale hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Both days.
