Show Dates, Cast Announced for Bloom's Production of 'The Color Purple'
The Bloom High School Drama Club will perform 'The Color Purple,' this weekend, April 19 to 21. The show features 60 students in the cast and crew.
The Bloom High School Drama Club is set to bring the groundbreaking 'The Color Purple' to the Workman Auditorium stage this weekend, April 19 to 21. The musical, which features 60 students in the cast, crew and ensemble, is based on the Marsha Norman book of the same name, with music and lyrics by Brenda Russell, Allee Willis and Stephen Bray.
'The Color Purple' is being directed by Nadima Zegar, with assistant director, Stephen Lopez. David Seifert will handle pit director duties and the technical director is Kevin Huizenga.

Tickets for 'The Color Purple' are $6 for adults, $5 for students with student ID and senior citizens with ID and free for children under 5 years old. Group rate tickets can be purchased for $4 per ticket, for groups of 10 or more.
'The Color Purple' is not recommended for any child under the age of 12.
