Vote for the Chicago Heights Athlete of the Year (Round Two)
With the 2011-2012 school year over, it's time to give some standout high school athletes a standing ovation.
Week one is over and, with more than 300 votes, Gina Narcisi of the girls soccer team was the winner.
Gina was humble and supportive of her fellow Trojans as the votes kept going her way. Her mother Celia told us, via Facebook, that Gina felt bad for being ahead in votes because she thinks Kaleb Williams is the better athlete. Great sportsmanship from a great young lady.
All of the athletes on all of the sports teams at both schools deserve kudos for giving their all throughout the year. Now is your chance to support them one more time.
