Downers Grove North Girls Swim and Dive Team Falls to Oak Park River Forest

The Downers Grove North Girls Swim and Dive Team lost to Oak Park River Forest on Thursday Night. However, the Trojans had several standout performances, including a first place finish in the Varsity 500 Yard Freestyle event for Ellie Benge, who also came in a close second in the 100 Yard Butterfly.

Senior co-captain Cassandra Candel placed second in both the 200 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Backstroke events. DGN took the top two spots in the 1 Meter Diving competition, with Emily Aument placing first and Elizabeth Aument placing second.
