DUIs, Driving Violations: Darien Cops

Four people were arrested on DUI charges last week, police say.

DARIEN, IL — The Darien Police Department released its latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the police reports:

  • Marie Edwards, 19, of Naperville, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. April 12 at 75th Street and Gigi Lane on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Paul Gurnic, 21, of Downers Grove, was cited about 8 p.m. April 13 at 83rd Street and Lemont Road on charges of unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver and disobeying a traffic control signal. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Antoine Norris, 24, of Chicago, was cited about 1 p.m. April 15 in the 8500 block of Lemont Road on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Jacob Timoszuk, 21, of Downers Grove, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. April 15 at 75th Street and Plainfield Road on a DuPage County warrant charging operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding and no registration. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Jessica Gibson, 41, of Chicago, was arrested about 5 a.m. April 15 on Interstate 55 near Cass Avenue on charges of DUI and possession of marijuana by a driver. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Anthony Jaconetty, 21, of Palos Park, was arrested about 4 a.m. Friday on two counts of DUI and one count of failing to obey a traffic control signal. He was seen asleep behind the wheel of a car parked on Bailey Road, south of Plainfield Road. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Eric Dunson, 36, of Chicago, was cited about 10 a.m. Friday at 75th Street at Plainfield Road on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper window tint and on a McHenry County warrant charging failure to appear in court. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Simone Ellis, 36, of Westmont, was cited about 1 a.m. Sunday in the 7700 block of Cass Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, obstructing a police officer and failure to signal. She was stopped for going 40 mph in a 25 mph zone. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Daryl Moore, 38, of Bolingbrook, was arrested about 11 a.m. Sunday in the 8700 block of Lemont Road on charges of DUI, felony driving with a revoked license, transportation of open alcohol and speeding. He was speeding 56 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
