St. John Lutheran Church at 7214 South Cass Avenue in Darien, IL will host a Family Fun Night on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free.
The event will feature a live show by Animals for Awareness—Protection Through Education at 4:00 p.m. See, touch (only if you want to), and learn about the wild and exotic animals this non-profit agency rescues, provides sanctuary to, and rehabilitates. It is guaranteed to be entertaining for all ages as we visit with a talking Amazon parrot, lizard, 12 foot Burmese python or 7 foot Madagascar ground boa, sulcata tortoise, tarantula, kinkajou, domestic skunk, hedgehog, opossum, mini rex rabbit, chinchilla, fennec fox, and coatimundi. Afterwards, a pizza dinner will be served. There will be games and crafts before and after the show.
