Hinsdale South Wins West Suburban Championship
The boys basketball team is headed to regionals.
DARIEN, IL — Hinsdale South High School's varsity boys basketball team continued its winning ways by defeating York 43-34 to capture the West Suburban Conference Championship, according to a District 86 news release. The Hornets were led by Bobby Durkin (14 points), James Ruzicka (12 points) and Billy Durkin (8 points). With the victory, the team moved its record on the season to 28-3 and 11-1 in conference. Now, the team is headed to regionals.
